Professional Background
For 30 years, Rhonda Haynes has led and developed high-performing teams. Just six months after graduating college, she was promoted out of a professional development program at Abbott Laboratories to lead a team of 70 and deliver historic profitability. She honed essential leadership skills through this experience and since led the turnaround of a $30 million business unit at Kraft Foods.
Fueled by her passion for people, problem solving, and efficiency, Rhonda clears pathways to achieve and sustain desired results. From Mars, Inc. to Chicago Scholars, she has generated revenue and profitability, enabled growth through deliberate process and planning, and developed teams. She strategically develops or aligns systems, processes, human capital, and partnerships.
In 2025, Rhonda launched Empowering Agency LLC, a firm that offers partnership in developing business solutions. In addition to earning a BS in Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Rhonda is certified in Learning Agility by Korn Ferry. Additionally, she completed The Management Center’s Executive Coaching program.
